Well, we had planned to go to Ohio this weekend for my family reunion, but Ethan woke up with an upset tummy and slight temp., so we decided to keep an eye on him today. His temp. is still high (but not too high) so I am glad we stayed home. If he feels better tonight/tomorrow we will go.

Marty and I tried to go to our favorite Thai place for lunch (we go every couple of weeks) but they were closed. We ended up at a street sale, where I picked up a few canning jars (mostly pint, but 3-4 quart) and a canner. Well, the woman said it was a canner, but it is smaller than the one Marie has. There is no insert, so I'm not sure.

Thursday we canned tomatoes. Ok, when I say we I mean Marie and her grandma. I just did what I was told to do, and would still be afraid to do it by myself! We got quarts out of 41/2 bushels. On Monday we are going to finish the 1/2 bushel that wasn't ripe enough, and I am probably going to pick up another bushel.

We are also going to do peaches, apples and applesauce. Yum.
